A Surf Camp in Biarritz, that’s a 100% Basque experience to discover.

Do you want to try this emblematic sport of the Basque Country during the holidays in the 64? Our partner the French surf school of Biarritz has developed a specific program to help you discover the joys of surfing and the surf spots of the Basque coast from April to the end of September.

Our partner offers you SURFCAMP packages with accommodation for all budgets and 5 half-day coursesYou will choose a tent, a mobile home with friends or family, a chalet or even the rental of one of our apartments in Bidart.

The surfcamp team will pick you and/or your children up at the campsite by minibus and bring you back after the lesson, so good, it's super easy! The equipment (surfboards, wetsuits, wax) is provided. We recommend that budding surfers bring cream to protect themselves from the southwest sun and water to recover after tackling the waves of the Basque coast. For parents or accompanying adults, you can meet the groups (on the beaches of Marbella in Biarritz, Ilbarritz in Bidart among other spots) to take lots of photos, the instructors will help you spot your child in the water in their surfboard wetsuit.

WEEKLY GROUP SURF LESSON PRICES:

FROM APRIL TO JUNE AND SEPTEMBER: 150 EUROS PER PERSON.

JULY: 170 EUROS PER PERSON.

AUGUST: 190 EUROS PER PERSON.

The courses are reserved for adults and children accompanied by a parent present on the campsite for the duration of the stay.

And how do we stay during the surfing course at the campsite in Bidart?
You will stay either in one of the collective tents with bunk beds, or in mobile homes for a family course for example, or in an apartment in our tourist residence which is adjacent to the Oyam campsite.

Are there permanent surf instructors at my campsite in Bidart?
The Surf camp area of the Oyam campsite is an autonomous collective place without support, apart from surf lessons, there is no facilitator.

What if I want to use the campsite swimming pool when I am doing a surfing course?
Participants in the surfing courses have access to the campsite services and the water park under the same conditions as all the holidaymakers we welcome in Bidart.

And if I'm more of a cerebral person, do you play games after surfing lessons?
Games are regularly offered in July-August on the terrace of the Oyam café and around the swimming pools, Olympics, crazy challenges and many other adventures await you.

And the campsite activities will cost me something? NO OF COURSE!
All tournaments, games and evenings are accessible to all our customers at no extra charge except for theme evenings with a meal (paid meal only).

What if I want an all-inclusive package?
It is possible with half board or full board.

The Oyam campsite surf courses are organized throughout the season and last a week including 5 half-days of surfing.
